A Catalogue raisonné is a thorough, critical list of all known works by an artist in a specific medium or overall. The French term means a “reasoned” or analytical catalog, organized by a logical system like chronology or theme rather than a random list.

The AMARCUS Catalogue raisonné will be a comprehensive index of each and every person to ever purchase an object from us.

ABOUT THE HOUSE

AMARCUS is an ambitious watch maison, founded with a focus on considered design, craftsmanship and a distinctly Indian point of view.

The House of AMARCUS is the parent body behind the brand, bringing together its creative, design and watchmaking ambitions under one house. Our watches are assembled in India, with a design process shaped by an Indian lens — balancing our culture and history with the language and themes of contemporary watchmaking.

There is a deep-rooted desire at AMARCUS to learn from the success stories of Indian watch brands, absorb the prowess and ingenuity of marquee watchmakers around the world, and apply our own horological sensibility to the craft. The aim is simple: to create watches with a high standard of quality and an unmatched customer experience that watch connoisseurs will hopefully appreciate, enjoy and cherish.

Today, AMARCUS is working with established movement manufacturers and specialist partners. In time, as the means and resources allow, our ambition is to embark on the journey of developing and making our own movements — taking a step towards becoming a truly independent watchmaking house.

The House of AMARCUS is expressed through five design codes, each exploring a different facet of curiosity and watchmaking.

The meeting of horology and the automobile: speed, motion, engineering and the enduring romance of the machine.

IVDEEP DIVE

Exploration beneath the surface, drawing from the mysteries of the oceans, diving instruments and the worlds yet to be fully discovered.

VMYSTICUS

The enigmatic and unexplained: cosmology, ancient objects, symbolism and the mysteries that continue to provoke curiosity.

Together, these five codes form the AMARCUS Design Code — a framework through which the House explores different stories, subjects and expressions while retaining a consistent point of view.
